The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Islamic Education Curricula

Abstract

The relevance of artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of religious education is becoming increasingly widespread and important. The integration of AI in religious education can provide innovative new approaches, improve learning methods, and strengthen students' understanding of religious values. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the role and implementation of AI in Islamic Religious Education. This research methodology uses a literature review, which collects and analyzes information about the theories and principles underlying the use of AI in Islamic religious education. The results of this study show that the role of AI in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum is to improve understanding of religious teachings, increase student motivation and engagement, and enable real-time analysis of student achievement. In conclusion, by utilizing AI as a teaching assistant in Islamic religious education, education can be optimized for better learning planning, careful analysis of student achievement, and the provision of adaptive learning resources. The integration of this technology not only enhances the learning experience for students but also supports teachers in managing their classes more efficiently.
